Who will win the new season?

This new season shows promise because of the likes of Mourinho coming back to English football and teams like Arsenal toughening there squads. And questions to be answered like will Manchester City live a new golden age under the rule Manuel Pellegrini or will David Moyes be able to continue the success of Manchester United?
Tottenham despite most  probably loosing Gareth Bale I think have seriously strengthened there squad with the likes of Soldado coming in to replace the Welsh international.
Will the English clubs dominate Europe with clubs like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Dortmund in the competition?
Will Barcelona learn from there mistakes and not be so reliant on Messi who appears to have a thigh injury?
And of course next summer the great World Cup in Brazil, the Great Battle of Nations. Will Spain defend their trophy or will Nations like Brazil aided by the home support, Germany, England, France or Holland contend for the great title of Champions of the World?
For this i'm exited for the new season in the Beautiful game. I of course will be commenting al the way through it.

Gareth Bale 100 Million waste or a good decision?

Gareth Bale is going to be the most expensive transfer ever in the history of football if he signs for Real Madrid .He is only 23 but has scored a mighty 26 goals and quite a few assist .But is this 23 year old boy with no trophies worth 100 million euros?
Gareth was Tottenhams best  player by far, and the club is desperate to keep him but it is difficult to convince him because the star revealed that he wanted to leave and had allways dreamed of playing for Real Madrid.
The spanish club look as if they are going to sign the Welsh any moment in the next month. But doo they really need Bale if they keep C.Ronaldo they wont in my opinion need a new striker is this a replacement of Di Maria?
Or are they trying to build a new team strong enough to rule Europe and the world?

If you have any sort of opinion just comment below and i will reply and answer to each one and see if i agree and if not will explain my argument in my next post.

Why is Englang failing to make a stand in Internationel football?

England are ranked 2nd in the world by the U.E.F.A but however  they do not succeed in making a stand in international football.
I think that the reason is that compared to countries like Germany or Spain, England are not united due to the very popular English Barclays league. They have the players like Rooney, Walcott and have the young talent hence Oxlade-Charmberlain or Wilshere.
And also they are missing a evident captain that suites their style of playing they seem to change every year and then its hard for them to build the team over and over again.
They just need to be more organised.

Failing again: Wayne Rooney say England have not been good enough to win a tournament

Neymar to Barcelona a good decision?

Neymar I think will be good adition to the Barcelona squad as he is a very resourceful player and i think would realy fit in  to this very complete squad. I think the reason the manager has decided to make him ( Neymar) there number one target was that they were relying to much on Messi ; that was proven by the second leg match against them were Messi was injured and the team badly suffered.
But on the other hand lots of critics are saiyng that he was only good against weak Brazilian defenders and would not stand a chance against the defenders in Spain. However that can be arranged as shown by David De Gea  when coming from Athletico Madrid had to win lots of wait to cope with the English attackers. So it can be done but Neymar will have to spend a lot of time in the gym.

Is women's football "catching up" with men's football?

I went to see the Women's champions league final and quite a few things shocking differences from the men's game.Firstly the ticket price this was probably the most important game in women's European football but the tickets were on only sold for 10 pounds an adult and 5 pounds for a child, compared to the price of a men's champions league final ticket from 60 pounds to 330 according to the quality of the seats, and the ones of the women's final were excellent !(due to the very few number of people)
But on the other side to be fair men's football is just better than men's football for the moment in Europe.
This is due to a number of facts:

  • Women's football is not as praised in Europe as it is in America
  • Girls are not as physical as men and this can not be replaced with skill as at the moment the only place were they really focus on the skills is Brazil.
  • Not many people go to women's football matches in Europe so the wages of players at the top levels are very low compared to the ones in men's football.

Newcastle's shocking season

I think that the disaster of this club this season is due to one simple thing : they sold their top player!
Demba Ba was sold in the January transfer to Chelsea if you sell you're best player in the middle of the season it is very hard to build the team without their leading goal scorer and best player.
And of course none of the players stepped up to take the leading attacker role, you could of expected that from Cisse or Ben Arfa. But that was not the case so they lost and lost and narrowly escaped relegation. It is not just for  Newcastle if you take any team and take out there best player it is very hard to recover because you have built you're hole team and way of playing around him  like Barcelona , Real Madrid or Napoli
